"Weird Rabbits And Other Easter Thoughts"

I wonder how ham, rabbits, and eggs got involved with Easter?
This season is a little rough on the livestock.
I like powder blue, yellow, and white.
Anybody know how they came to be the Easter colors?
What's the deal with coloring eggs,
and why do we look for them?
Does the rabbit bring and hide the eggs?
Is that our story to the kids?
Do the kids believe it,
or are they humoring us?
Where does this weird rabbit get the eggs anyway,
and should he seek psychiatric help?
Should we?
A bit of advice:
Don't pick up the brown eggs.
We have our own family tradition...
On Easter Sunday, we all go out on the lawn
and play "Stomp the Bunny".
